I might be the only person who hasn’t seen this, but it is AMAZING.

So much wisdom.

Probably the funniest/greatest thing I have ever witnessed from Teen Wolf (fan made or Jeff Davis made).
Things that matter. Pass ‘em on.The power of words and more importantly, the right words.
Ewwww. Pity porn. We won’t get justice that way, thesocialjusticenetwork. :\
Oh yeah, 100% pity porn! But like they said, “The power of words and more importantly, the right words.” For example, you’ll make more progress having discussions than throwing around accusations. When people feel like they’re being attacked, they’re less likely to open to new ideas.
What this video showed me is that if you want to people to sit up and pay attention you have to make sure you choose the right words and approach.
German guy confused by the meaning of “Party Pooper”.

PHOTOGRAPHER TOURS SHELTERS TO HELP DOGS GET ADOPTED - “Our mission is to provide shelter staff and volunteers with the resources to successfully groom and photograph shelter pets, helping give them the second chance they deserve.”
The One Picture Saves a Life initiative teaches animal shelters how to groom and photograph the shelter animals to present them in the best light (probably both literally and figuratively) for adoption. Photographer Seth Casteel is currently touring various shelters in the U.S. to put on workshops. You may be familiar with Casteel’s Underwater Dogs series. The photos above are examples of how different the dogs look depending on how they are presented.
In addition to Casteel, John Paul Pet, The Animal Rescue Site, GreaterGood.org, and the Petfinder Foundation are all partners in this endeavor. Click here to learn more about One Picture Saves a Life. You can also donate to this cause by clicking here. (Photos from One Picture Saves a Life)
I used to volunteer at a local shelter by taking photos of the dogs and cats who needed homes. There wasn’t a day I worked there that one of us didn’t break down, but it was so worth it. Check with your local shelter if you’re so inclined. They can always use volunteers.
